Job summary

Wiltshire Council is seeking a Fitness Consultant on a casual basis to guide customers through inductions, promote safe equipment use, and tailor programmes to individual needs.

You will coach clients, monitor progress and help them achieve health and wellbeing goals in a flexible, on-demand role with pay reflecting casual hours and enhanced unsocial rates.

As a Fitness Consultant, you will provide guidance to customers on the safe use of equipment during their induction and create customised programmes tailored to individual needs. Your responsibilities will also include coaching and supporting customers in reaching their desired goals.

We are looking for someone who is a qualified fitness instructor who can communicate honestly and openly with customers, who is also empathetic, and holds a broad knowledge of the fitness industry.

As a casual worker, the council will enhance your hourly rate by 12.07% to compensate you for annual leave. You will have no fixed hours and will work on an as-needed basis, depending on Wiltshire Council's requirements and your availability. You are not obligated to be available, and the council is not obliged to offer you work.
