Planet Fitness is seeking an Assistant Manager to help run day-to-day club operations in a dynamic, judgement-free environment. You will support the Club Manager, drive member satisfaction and sustain the financial stability of the club while nurturing a high-energy team culture.

The role emphasizes leadership, operational excellence, and strong customer service within a welcoming setting that serves the community and supports youth programs and local initiatives.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old and have High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service skills with a strong focus on member care.
• Experience leading teams in retail or fitness environments.
• Self-starter who can work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with oversight of club operations and ensure an exceptional member experience.
• Support recruitment by helping with initial interviews for staff
• Drive club metrics in line with business performance.
• Lead by example to deliver high-quality service and operational excellence.
• Monitor inventory and review sales data with the Club Manager to identify opportunities.
• Uphold Planet Fitness mission, keep the club clean, friendly and well-maintained.
• Ensure staff adhere to punctuality, dress code, friendliness and cleanliness.
• Oversee club audits to maintain standards across all areas.
• Promote career growth through training, development and performance assessment.
