Job summary

Balfour Beatty VINCI is HS2’s Midlands construction partner, delivering 90km of the route and employing a diverse team of nearly 9,000 people across major assets including bridges, tunnels and viaducts. We are recruiting for an Architectural Fit-Out Lead to deliver safe, compliant finishes, coordinate with Civil, MEP and design teams, and oversee subcontractors and handover documentation.

Location: Based in Coventry, with flexible working options.

Responsibilities

• Lead the safe delivery of architectural fit-out and finishes works, ensuring compliance with RAMS, permits, specifications, drawings and project quality standards.
• Coordinate fit-out activities with Civil, MEP, design and supply-chain teams, proactively resolving design, constructability and package interface issues.
• Manage fit-out subcontractor performance, productivity and compliance, including labour resources, competence, attendance and planned outputs.
• Monitor the construction programme, identifying sequencing and delivery risks, implementing mitigation measures and escalating issues where required.
• Oversee inspections, testing, snagging, defect close-out and the completion of all required handover documentation.

HS2, Britain’s new high-speed railway is at peak construction. Balfour Beatty VINCI is HS2’s construction partner in the Midlands, responsible for delivering 90km of the route, from Long Itchington in Warwickshire to the centre of Birmingham and on to Handsacre in Staffordshire. Now is a great time to join us and be part of a diverse team of nearly 9,000 people from over 80 nationalities working together to deliver major assets including bridges, tunnels and viaducts.

Whether onsite or officed based all colleagues have a key part to play in delivering this critical transport infrastructure project.

Location: Based in Coventry - the South Region comprises Sublots 2B, 2A and 1A Long Itchington Wood. It stretches for approximately 39.2km from Finham Brook to Southam through a mixture of rural and suburban landscapes.
