Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor / First Line Manager

Pay Rate: £32,751.89

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift Patterns: 4 on, 4 off – 06:00 - 18:00

Location: Daventry - NN11 8NF

DHL is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor / First Line Manager to oversee operations in a temperature-controlled, three-chamber warehouse. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in warehouse management.

What You'll Do:

1. Performance Monitoring: Report on and monitor the effectiveness of warehousing activities and performance metrics in your area.
2. Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate productivity, communicate job expectations to 16 direct reports, and ensure deadlines are met safely and efficiently.
3. Order Tracking: Use digital in-house tracking software to monitor and trace orders, ensuring accurate records and operational efficiency.
4. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement best practices to improve warehouse performance.

What We Need From You:

• Proven experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader in a warehouse or logistics environment, especially in temperature-controlled settings.
• Strong understanding of supply chain practices and warehouse procedures.
• Experience in managing high-volume orders.
• Proficiency in logistics software and data analysis.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with experience in training and developing teams.
• Experience in delivering performance.
• Willing to work 4 on, 4 off shifts from 6:00 to 18:00.
• Ability to manage 12-16 direct reports.
