Pay Rate: £31,958 + Shift Premium + Overtime

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift patterns: 4 on, 4 off - 18:00 - 6:00 (Night Shift)

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business, is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor / FLM to play a vital role in coordinating our daily logistics requirements in the recycling department of the warehouse.

This is a night shift role. Please only apply if you are willing to work night shifts.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

1. Assist management by monitoring the effectiveness of warehousing activities and performance in your designated area.
2. Supervise, implement, and coordinate productivity by communicating job expectations to direct reports, ensuring deadlines are safely met within allocated time frames while maintaining standards of excellence.
3. Track and trace orders using digital in-house tracking software, maintaining accurate records.
4. Work within the recycling department of the warehouse.
5. Manage a team of up to 15 direct reports.

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

1. Previous practical experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader is desirable.
2. Previous warehouse experience is desirable.
3. Experience in preparation and distribution of volume orders.
4. Computer literacy with knowledge of logistics software.
5. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to supervise, organize, and train staff.
6. Familiarity with 1-2-1 meetings, disciplinary procedures, back-to-work protocols, and conflict resolution.
7. Willingness to work 4 on, 4 off shifts, 18:00 - 6:00.
8. The role is based in the recycling department of the warehouse.
