DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business, is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor / FLM to play a vital role in coordinating our daily logistics requirements in the recycling department of the warehouse.

This is a night shift role. Only apply if you are comfortable working the night shift.

What does the role entail?

• Assist management by monitoring and reporting on warehousing activities and performance in your designated area.
• Supervise, implement, and coordinate productivity by communicating job expectations to direct reports, ensuring deadlines are met safely and standards of excellence are maintained.
• Track and trace orders using digital tracking software, maintaining accurate records.
• Work within the recycling department of the warehouse.
• Manage a team of up to 15 direct reports.

What do we need from you?

• Previous supervisory or team leader experience is desirable.
• Previous warehouse experience is desirable.
• Experience in the preparation and distribution of volume orders.
• Proficiency with logistics software packages.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to supervise, organize, and train team members.
• Familiarity with 1-2-1 meetings, disciplinary procedures, back-to-work processes, and conflict resolution.
• Availability to work 4 on, 4 off shifts from 18:00 to 6:00.
• The role is based in the recycling department of the warehouse.
