Pay Rate: £31,958 + Shift Premium + Overtime

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift patterns: 4 on, 4 off – 18:00 - 6:00 (Night Shift)

Location: Daventry - NN11 8NF

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business, is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor / FLM to coordinate daily logistics in the recycling department of the warehouse.

This is a night shift role. Please only apply if you are willing to work night shifts.

What does the role entail?

1. Assist management by monitoring and reporting on warehousing activities and performance in your designated area.
2. Supervise, implement, and coordinate productivity by communicating job expectations to direct reports, ensuring deadlines are met safely and standards of excellence are maintained.
3. Track and trace orders using digital in-house tracking software, maintaining accurate records.
4. Work within the recycling department of the warehouse.
5. Manage a team of up to 15 direct reports.

What do we need from you?

1. Previous practical experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader is desirable.
2. Experience in warehousing is desirable.
3. Experience in preparing and distributing volume orders.
4. Computer literacy with knowledge of logistics software packages.
5. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to supervise, organize, and train staff.
6. Familiarity with 1-2-1 meetings, disciplinary procedures, back-to-work policies, and conflict resolution.
7. Willingness to work 4 on, 4 off shifts from 18:00 to 6:00.
8. The role is based in the recycling department of the warehouse.
