Pay Rate: £34,855.59

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift patterns: Sunday-Thursday 10pm-6am

Location: Derby - DE13 0BB

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business, is seeking a Warehouse FLM to play a vital role in coordinating our daily logistics requirements. The ideal candidate should have comprehensive knowledge of supply chain supervisory practices and a demonstrable understanding of warehouse procedures, including storing goods and dispatching orders.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

1. Assist management by reporting on and monitoring the effectiveness of all warehousing activities and performance in your designated area.
2. Provide guidance, support, and training to warehouse colleagues.
3. Assist with the day-to-day running of the shift, correctly utilising labour.
4. Manage a small team of operatives.
5. Supervise, implement, and coordinate productivity by communicating job expectations to direct reports, ensuring all deadlines are safely met within allocated time frames, while maintaining standards of excellence.
