LINE LEADER | NIGHTS | MONDAY - THURSDAY | 12-HOUR SHIFT

We are currently recruiting for a Line Leader in our Prep Area, working nights, Monday – Thursday, doing 12-hour shifts from 6pm-6am. Reporting into the Area Manager, as a Line Leader you will play an extremely important and valued role, managing the production line to maximise output whilst ensuring all products achieve specified quality, legal and safety standards.

Main duties include (but not limited to):

  • To effectively motivate a team of people to meet production targets and ensure product specifications
  • To adhere to and promote best practice in accordance with company health, safety and quality regulations
  • To ensure all paperwork and systems are completed and accurate in accordance with company procedures
  • To ensure that all areas comply with hygienic and GMP (good manufacturing practices) audits
  • To assist in the training and development of all staff and act as a role model for best practice
  • Monitor, control and minimize waste
  • Play an active part in continuous improvement
  • To undertake such other duties as may be required from time to time, that reasonably fall within the scope and grade of the post

Candidate requirements:

  • A dynamic individual, who is driven and committed
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Be able to work under pressure, be flexible and dedicated
  • Excellent attitude towards teamwork and always be willing to assist colleagues
  • Motivated, reliable and have a strong attention to detail
  • Good standard of spoken and written English
  • Basic computer skills
  • Previous prep experience is preferred however not essential
  • Happy to work nights from Monday to Thursday every week
