Job summary

Iron Mountain in Kettering, UK, is seeking a proactive Warehouse Supervisor to lead shift teams and ensure daily operations meet productivity and quality targets. This full-time role covers 4 on, 4 off shifts from 6am to 6pm, with a strong emphasis on safety and efficient coordination with internal departments and suppliers.

You will coach staff, manage stock control, utilitise WMS and planning tools, and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience managing fast-paced warehouse teams.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, stock control, KPIs, and health and safety.
• Ability multitask and exercise sound judgement under supervision.
• Experience with warehouse management systems and planning tools.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and support warehouse personnel by preparing shift plans, allocating tasks, and overseeing daily warehouse operations to meet productivity and quality goals.
• Collaborate with internal departments, suppliers, and transport providers to act as the primary liaison, managing customer escalations and creating handover reports.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations by conducting daily safety checks, managing weekly system tests for fire alarms, and leading incident investigations.

What You’ll Do

What You’ll Bring

• Intermediate-level experience with established skills in effectively managing and motivating fast-paced warehouse teams.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, stock control processes, Key Performance Indicators, and health and safety regulations.
• Proven ability in organisational multitasking, problem-solving, and exercising sound judgement under moderate supervision.
• Demonstrated competency and training in using warehouse management systems, planning tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
