Job summary

The Hippodrome Casino is seeking a proactive Bar Back to support its bar services on the first floor, covering the Penny Bar, Magic Mike Live and the Permission Lounge. You will help keep the bar stocked, clean, and ready for service in a fast-paced, high-profile setting.

You will restock, maintain cleanliness, and assist bartenders during peak times while ensuring hygiene and safety standards. Night and weekend flexibility is required to thrive in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or bar support is a plus, but not essential.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Restock fridges, shelves and service stations with drinks and supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation behind the bar and in storage areas.
• Support bartenders during busy service with prep and logistics.
• Clear and reset guest areas as needed.
• Ensure hygiene and safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Restock fridges, shelves, and service stations with drinks, glassware, and supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation behind the bar and in storage areas.
• Support bartenders during busy service periods with prep and logistics.
• Assist with clearing and resetting guest areas as needed.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
• Be a reliable and energetic presence in a high-volume, high-energy setting.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in a hospitality or bar support role is a plus, but not essential.
• A strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
