Fire Systems Installation & Commissioning Engineer - Midlands - South Based with travel

Marlowe Fire & Security is the fastest growing fire & security business in the UK. From initial design, supply, and installation to ongoing maintenance and monitoring, we help prevent, detect, and monitor fire and security risks for our customers nationwide. We are seeking a Fire Systems Project Engineer based in Midlands - South, willing to travel frequently.

Salary: Up to £36,000 per annum

Additional Earnings: Overtime and travel time approximately £10,000 per annum

Role Overview

Manage small and large fire systems projects across the Marlowe portfolio, ensuring timely delivery, profitability, health, safety, and quality standards. Liaise with clients, plan and control resources, and oversee installation, commissioning, and documentation.

Responsibilities

1. Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
2. Maintain project schedules and control costs.
3. Coordinate purchasing and control labor and materials.
4. Complete engineering paperwork and commissioning procedures.
5. Provide technical support and attend site meetings.
6. Manage engineers and subcontractors, including personnel management.
7. Monitor project profitability and report to project managers.
8. Ensure health and safety compliance on site.
9. Perform installation and commissioning when required.
10. Uphold Marlowe's quality and HSE standards.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience managing projects across multiple sites.
• Strong technical knowledge of major fire systems (Gent, Notifier, Kentec, Ziton, etc.).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
