Fire & Security Project Engineer - Midlands based covering the UK

Marlowe Fire & Security is the fastest growing fire & security business in the UK. We handle everything from initial design, supply, and installation to ongoing maintenance and monitoring, helping prevent, detect, and monitor fire and security risks nationwide. We are currently seeking a Fire Systems Project Engineer to cover the South East region.

Salary & Benefits:

• Basic Salary up to £38,000 per annum
• Overtime and Travel Time circa £10,000 per annum

Role Responsibilities:

• Commission fire detection and alarm systems per industry standards
• Conduct site surveys, inspections, and testing
• Provide technical support and guidance to field engineers
• Ensure health & safety compliance on all projects
• Maintain accurate records and detailed reports of commissioning activities
• Assist with end-user system training
• Plan and control labour and materials for projects
• Attend site meetings and manage engineers/subcontractors
• Manage project profitability and report to project management
• Ensure quality and safety standards are upheld
• Perform installation and commissioning of systems as needed

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in commissioning fire detection and alarm systems
• Knowledge of systems such as Gent, Notifier, Kentec
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical or Electronic Engineering preferred
• Experience across multiple site locations
• Strong technical and interpersonal skills
