Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Regional Sales Consultant - Fire Suppression to drive installation and service revenue within the Tyco Regional Accounts Channel. You will build and maximise existing relationships, identify new opportunities, and provide quotes meeting customer needs with solid product knowledge.

The role emphasizes proactive lead generation, account planning, and bid management across enterprise solutions, supported by Salesforce.com and company resources.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing opportunities/accounts and working with sales teams to prepare detailed proposals.
• Developing, communicating, and presenting value in created solutions.
• Ideally experience in Fire Suppression solutions or similar engineering/construction based sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead Management - self generation of leads and qualification for bid opportunities.
• Account/Territory Planning - identify target accounts and define SMART objectives.
• Opportunity Planning - qualify opportunities and assemble bid teams for complex deals.
• Survey, Configure, Price, Quote - assess sites and prepare costs and quotations.
• AMR - pursue opportunities and retain existing AMR customers/service base.
• Presentations - deliver technical/bid presentations to customers or influencers.
• Salesforce.com - use as primary CRM for planning and tracking activities.
• Performance - prepare monthly plans with sales manager and review pipeline.
• Product/Technical Knowledge - maintain knowledge of solutions through training.
