Job summary

Acorn by Synergie is seeking two experienced Fire Stoppers for the Passive Fire Team in Preston to work on public sector commercial buildings. The role involves installing passive fire protection to meet safety standards and ensure regulatory compliance.

DBS status is required or willing to obtain one, with a 10-week project duration. You will read and interpret drawings, carry out fire stopping and door installation tasks, and complete documentation to high standards while maintaining safety in

Responsibilities

• Install fire stopping systems including batt & mastic, fire collars, wraps, and sealants.
• Install and maintain fire doors, perform remedial works.
• Carry out compartmentation works in line with fire safety regulations.
• Read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Complete works to a high standard following FIRAS/BM TRADA guidelines.
• Accurately complete job sheets and compliance documentation.
• Work safely and respectfully within public spaces.

Acorn by Synergie are looking for 2 experienced Fire stoppers for the Passive Fire Team with a leading Facilities Management business. You will be working on a range of projects within public sector commercial buildings, carrying out essential passive fire protection works to ensure buildings meet safety and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation of fire stopping systems including batt & mastic, fire collars, wraps, and sealants
• Fire door installation, maintenance, and remedial works
• Carry out compartmentation works in line with fire safety regulations
• Read and interpret drawings and specifications
• Complete works to a high standard in line with FIRAS/BM TRADA guidelines
• Accurately complete job sheets and compliance documentation
• Work safely and respectfully within public spaces
