Job summary

Acorn Recruitment, on behalf of a leading Facilities Management business, is seeking 2 experienced Fire Stoppers to join the Passive Fire Team. You will work on a range of projects within public sector commercial buildings, carrying out essential passive fire protection works to ensure safety and compliance.

Key duties include installing fire stopping systems (batt, mastic, collars, wraps, sealants), installing and maintaining fire doors, carrying out compartmentation, reading drawings and

Qualifications

• Experience in passive fire protection works.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Carry out fire stopping to high standards in line with FIRAS/BM TRADA guidelines.
• Work safely in public spaces.

Responsibilities

• Installation of fire stopping systems including batt & mastic, fire collars, wraps, and sealants
• Fire door installation, maintenance, and remedial works
• Carry out compartmentation works in line with fire safety regulations
• Read and interpret drawings and specifications
• Complete works to a high standard in line with FIRAS/BM TRADA guidelines
• Accurately complete job sheets and compliance documentation
• Work safely and respectfully within public spaces
