Job summary

Hall & Kay is seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver fire sprinkler projects on time and to budget, ensuring compliance with client and regulatory requirements. You will lead initiation meetings, maintain programmes, manage costs, and oversee on-site resources and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

The role requires extensive knowledge of relevant standards, on-site management of labour, and a strong focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• BS EN 12845 and LPS1048 schemes knowledge is essential.
• Experience with engineering drawings and project documentation.
• LPCB Testing & Commissioning Module 2 competence.
• LPCB Site Inspection Module 1 competence.
• Familiarity with Prince 2 project management methodologies.
• Experience managing complex, large budget construction projects.
• On-site labour and resources management experience.
• SMSTS and CSCS card holder.
• CDM management principles knowledge.
• Production of RAMs, Quality Plans, Project Plans, CTC trackers.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Strong commercial cost-saving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead project initiation and handover meetings with Sales, Design, and QS.
• Produce and maintain project programme and cost control.
• Communicate with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain central project file records and documentation.
• Attend end-of-project CTC meetings and submit reports.
• Ensure installers are briefed, competent, and qualified.
• Raise PORs with authorised Tier 1 suppliers.
• Manage on-site resources and resolve issues to maintain the programme.
• Participate in internal and third party audits.
• Record and address supplier non-conformities.
• Consult with subject matter experts as required.
• Manage material and labour costs and variations to contract.
• Raising of final accounts and project close-out.
• On-site inspections per EHS001 schedule; run toolbox talks.
• Complete all H&S documentation (RAMs, attendance sheets, etc.).
