Job summary

Hall & Kay is recruiting a Fire Sprinkler Projects Manager in Manchester. You will deliver sprinkler projects on time and within budget, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and regulatory standards.

You will lead initiation meetings, produce programmes, liaise with clients, manage costs, and ensure documentation (RAMs, O&M, As-Fitted Drawings, certifications). You will brief installers, manage on-site resources, and contribute to audits.

Qualifications

• BS EN 12845 and LPS1048 knowledge required.
• Engineering drawings interpretation essential.
• LPCB Testing & Commissioning Module 2 competence.
• LPCB Site Inspection Module 1 competence.
• Familiar with Prince 2 project management.
• Experience managing complex, large-budget construction projects.
• On-site labour & resources management experience.
• Valid SMSTS & CSCS cards.
• Knowledge of CDM principles.
• Experience producing RAMs, Quality Plans, Project Plans, CTCS.
• Proficient with standard MS Office applications.
• Strong commercial cost-saving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead project initiation and handover meetings with stakeholders.
• Produce and maintain project programme.
• Communicate with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain central project records and documentation.
• Attend cost-to-complete meetings and manage costs.
• Prepare end-of-project documentation (O&M, As-Fitted Drawings, Certification).
• Brief installers and ensure competence to meet requirements.
• Raise PORs with Tier 1 suppliers.
• Manage on-site resources to keep programme on track.
• Participate in audits and resolve supplier non-conformities.
• Collaborate with SMEs where needed and manage project risk.
• Produce and manage RAMs, Quality Plans, and project trackers.
• Identify variations and raise final accounts.
• Conduct on-site inspections per schedule and lead toolbox talks.
• Complete all H&S documentation.
