Job summary

City Facilities Management Holdings Ltd is seeking an Asda Fire and Security Technician to carry out repairs and planned maintenance of fire and security equipment across Asda sites in Essex.

The role requires working to KPIs, completing PPM tasks on time, and responding to helpdesk requests during normal hours and on-call periods as required. A driving licence is essential and relevant electrical/fire alarm qualifications are expected.

Qualifications

• GCSE standard.
• Electrical Competency Qualification (NVQ/City & Guilds).
• CCTV IP/analogue systems.
• Fire alarm systems.

Responsibilities

• To undertake maintenance and repairs in accordance with KPIs set by the customer including, but not limited to response, repair, first fix, and closure.
• To ensure all planned, reactive and statutory works designated to a CCTV engineer is carried out in accordance with contractual obligations as set out in the City FM Bookcase.
• To complete the PPM works within agreed timescales and to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and to the laid-down procedures and satisfactory standards.
• To respond promptly to service call requests from the Helpdesk during normal hours and when on call. For avoidance of doubt out of hours will be referred to the specialist in the first instance.
• To identify non-repairable faults in equipment and propose corrective course of action.
