Job summary

M Pro Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for an experienced Fire & Security Service Engineer to join a growing team in Manchester. The role involves PPM servicing, remedial works and reactive fault-finding on fire and security systems at large commercial sites.

The ideal candidate will have multi-disciplined experience across fire and security, strong electrical fundamentals and basic networking knowledge. On-call rota applies, with a company van, tools and laptop provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in fire and security engineering on multi-discipline systems.
• Strong electrical fundamentals and fault-finding skills.
• Comfortable working independently on commercial sites.

Responsibilities

• Carry out PPM servicing and maintenance on fire and security systems.
• Complete remedial works identified during PPM visits.
• Attend reactive callouts and diagnose system faults.
• Work confidently on large commercial sites and systems.
• Carry out electrical fault-finding and diagnostics.
• Work on traditional electrical systems and modern IP-based equipment.
• Use basic networking knowledge for system configuration and fault-finding.
