Job summary

Recruitment Helpline Ltd in Berkshire is seeking a Fire & Security Service Engineer to perform planned preventative maintenance, reactive calls and commissioning across a varied customer portfolio. The role involves fault diagnosis, site work, and on-site testing of access control, CCTV, fire alarm and intruder systems.

You will work across multiple sites, participate in an on-call rota with occasional overtime, and ensure compliance with British Standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Fire & Security Service Engineer.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• PPM and reactive maintenance of fire & security systems across sites.
• Fault diagnosis, repair and commissioning support.
• Maintain compliance with current British Standards.
• Test system operation and complete service reports.
• Liaise professionally with customers and site personnel.
• Participate in on-call rota for emergency breakdowns.
