Job summary

M PRO Recruitment Limited in Manchester is seeking a Fire & Security Service Engineer to service and maintain fire and security systems on large commercial sites.

You will perform PPM servicing, diagnose faults, handle electrical fault-finding, and participate in a 1 in 6 on-call rota. A strong customer service approach is essential.

The role offers a salary of £35,000–£40,000 DOE, 25 days plus bank holidays, a company van, tools and laptop, and a profit share scheme.

Qualifications

• Experience in fire and security systems.
• Strong electrical fault-finding skills.
• Basic networking knowledge for configurations.
• Ability to work independently on commercial sites.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out PPM servicing and maintenance on fire and security systems.
• Complete remedial works identified during PPM visits.
• Attend reactive callouts and diagnose system faults.
• Work on large commercial sites and systems.
• Carry out electrical fault-finding and diagnostics.
• Work on traditional and IP-based equipment.
• Use networking knowledge for configuration and fault-finding.
