Job summary

PRS is seeking a qualified Fire and Security Engineer to join our maintenance team in Manchester. You will perform PPM and reactive maintenance on fire alarms, CCTV, access control and intruder systems for commercial estates across the North West.

You're expected to have proven experience with fire and security systems, a strong knowledge of relevant fire and security standards, and a valid driving licence. The role includes on-call duties and an attractive package including a company van.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with fire/security systems.
• High level knowledge of relevant Fire standards.
• High level knowledge of relevant Security standards.
• Valid full driving licence.
• Experience in FM or building services environment.
• PPM and reactive maintenance experience.
• Excellent diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Good communication skills and customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine service calls and fault calls.
• Diagnose faults and develop solutions.
• Maintain and service fire and security systems.
• Ensure work complies with company, customer and legal standards.
• Manage contract delivery including cost, quality, timeliness.
• Liaise with customers to keep them informed.
• Work across CCTV, Access Control, Intruder and Fire systems.
