Job summary

Hall & Kay is seeking a skilled Multi-Disciplined Fire & Security Service Engineer for the Manchester team, serving clients across the North. You will handle service, PPM, installation, configuration and support of fire alarm and integrated security systems with manufacturer-led training and in-house product courses.

You will install, commission, test and maintain fire alarms and security systems, ensuring compliance with BS5839 and related standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in fire alarm systems maintenance with BS5839 standards knowledge.
• Servicing and maintaining addressable and conventional fire alarm systems.
• Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining CCTV, access control and intrusion systems.
• Strong networking knowledge and fault diagnosis capabilities.
• Full UK Driving Licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Service, PPM, installation, configuration and support of fire alarm systems across the North.
• Install and commission integrated security systems including CCTV and access control.
• Respond to callouts and provide reactive maintenance to ensure reliability.
• Maintain detailed service records, certification, and compliance documentation.
• Provide end-user training and support, on-site and remotely when required.
• Work with project managers, clients and suppliers to deliver tailored solutions.
• Participate in on-call rota with standby arrangements.
