Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a skilled Fire and Security Service Engineer to service and maintain CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarms and Fire Alarm systems across Coventry and surrounding areas.

You will ensure systems remain operational, compliant and safe for commercial clients, while travelling across the region and building strong client relationships. The role offers a competitive salary and benefits including a company vehicle and opportunities for overtime and progression.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge of fire and security systems (CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarms, Fire Alarms).
• Experience working with these systems in a commercial environment.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to travel across Coventry and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and maintaining fire and security systems including CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarms and Fire Alarms.
• Provide high-quality service to commercial clients ensuring systems are safe, secure and compliant.
• Troubleshoot and carry out repairs to minimise disruption to clients’ operations.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive service visits.
• Complete service reports and documentation.
• Build strong relationships with customers and site contacts.

Due to continued growth, we are expanding our Fire & Security division and are looking for a skilled and motivated Fire and Security Service Engineer to join our team covering Coventry and the surrounding areas.

The Role

As a Fire and Security Service Engineer, you’ll be responsible for servicing and maintaining a wide range of fire and security systems across commercial properties throughout Coventry and the surrounding region.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring that our clients’ systems remain fully operational, reliable and compliant.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Servicing and maintaining fire and security systems including CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarms and Fire Alarms
• Providing high-quality service to commercial clients, ensuring their systems are safe, secure and compliant
• Troubleshooting and carrying out repairs to minimise disruption to clients’ operations
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive service visits
• Completing service reports and relevant system documentation
• Building strong working relationships with customers and site contacts

Skills & Experience

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

• Strong technical knowledge of Fire & Security systems, including CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarms and Fire Alarms
• Proven experience working with these systems within a commercial environment
• A Full UK Driving Licence
• The ability to work independently and manage your own workload
• Comfortable travelling across Coventry and the surrounding areas
• Good customer service and communication skills
