Job summary

ionic Recruitment Ltd. is recruiting an experienced Fire & Security Project Manager to lead the design-to-handover of Fire & Security projects in Manchester. You will shape a new division, own projects and collaborate with clients and suppliers to ensure successful delivery.

The role requires strong PM experience in fire alarm/design, knowledge of BS 5839 and related standards, and the ability to manage estimates, procurement and margins. Excellent career progression and ownership opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven project management experience in Fire & Security.
• Strong knowledge of fire alarm design and related standards (BS 5839).
• Experience estimating and quoting for fire & security projects.
• Ability to manage procurement, costs, and margins.

Responsibilities

• Manage Fire & Security projects from design through to completion, commissioning and handover.
• Oversee fire alarm system design and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
• Prepare project estimates and quotations.
• Plan labour, materials, procurement and project programmes.
• Coordinate installation, testing and commissioning activities.
• Produce project documentation, drawings, certificates and handover information.
• Identify opportunities for new business and support division growth.
