Job summary

HSB Technical Ltd is looking for a Fire & Security Engineer (Installation, Service & Commissioning) to install, service and commission fire alarm and security systems across commercial and residential sites, covering Sussex, Hampshire, Surrey and Dorset. You will work on conventional and addressable fire systems and CCTV/intruder setups.

The role offers a four-day working week (07:30–16:30), a company van, fuel card and on-call allowance, plus full equipment provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years experience within fire and security.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Enhanced DBS clearance is essential.
• Strong knowledge across fire, intruder and CCTV systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads.

Responsibilities

• Installation, servicing, maintenance and commissioning of fire alarm and security systems.
• Work on conventional and addressable fire systems.
• Fault finding and reactive repairs across multiple disciplines.
• Covering sites across Sussex, Hampshire, Surrey and Dorset.
• Completing service reports and compliance documentation.
• Participating in an on-call rota with occasional Friday work.
• Maintaining health and safety standards and customer service.
• Managing company vehicle and equipment.
