Job description

Fire & Security Engineer

We are looking for an experiencedFire & Security Engineerto join a growing team of an Electrical biased maintenance contractor who are based in Cornwall. You will be responsible for PPM works, reactive call-outs, and minor fault repairs across various domestic and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will be located in Exeter or the surrounding area.

Duties will include:

• Service, maintain and install fire alarm systems.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive call-outs.
• Ensure all work complies with industry regulations.

Requirements:

• Previous experience with in a similar role (service, fault finding & installation).
• FIA training (or equivalent) to BS5839-1 Fundamentals.
• Full UK driving license (essential).
• Must have own hand tools, power tools, and fire test equipment.
• IPAF / PASMA certification.
