Our client is a well-established company that provides Fire & Security solutions to a range of clients across the UK. They are looking for a Junior Fire & Security Engineer to join their team on a Full-time, Permanent basis.

Fire and Security Package Overview:

• Salary of up to £40,000 per annum + call outs and overtime

Our client is currently looking for a Fire and Security Engineer to join their highly valued team on a Full-Time, Permanent basis.

This is a field-based role working with multiple clients across sectors such as retail outlets, hotel chains, private housing, social housing, education establishments, and commercial buildings.

Services offered include access control, door entry systems, intruder alarms, CCTV, fire alarms, and emergency lighting. Previous experience in these areas is preferred but not essential.

You will be part of a team that values collaboration to ensure high standards of work. Support, training, and the necessary tools will be provided to perform your role effectively.

Fire and Security Engineer Role and Responsibilities:

1. Work across sectors including retail, hospitality, housing, education, and commercial
2. Ensure high quality of work delivered on-site
3. Communicate effectively with clients and administration team
4. Adhere to guidelines and regulations from professional bodies
5. Collaborate with other engineers and support junior team members
6. Service, maintain, fault-find, and perform small works on fire alarms, CCTV, access control, and intruder systems
7. Attend call outs on a rotational basis: 1 week in 6
8. Cover Bristol and surrounding areas

Skills and Experience:

1. Full UK Driving Licence or equivalent (Essential)
2. Enthusiasm and drive to seize opportunities
3. At least 2 years of experience in the sector
4. Relevant qualifications such as FIA, BAFE IPAF, PASMA, CSCS, City & Guilds are desirable
5. Positive attitude and self-motivation
6. Good product knowledge of brands like Morley, Advanced, Kentec, C-TEC, Hikvision, Dahua, Texecom, Scantronic, Galaxy, Paxton, and others
