Overview

First Military Recruitment is currently seeking a Fire Safety Technician on behalf of one of our clients. Applications from ex-military candidates are actively encouraged; however, all candidates will be given due consideration.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for the completion of fire safety inspections on buildings.
2. Conducting fire door surveys, inspections, and preparing reports.
3. Developing fire safety plans and emergency response plans.
4. Completing audits and reports on secure information boxes.
5. Performing general maintenance on secure information boxes.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Self-motivated and self-disciplined.
• Physically fit, able to spend most of the day on your feet, walking long distances, and climbing stairs in high-rise buildings such as tower blocks.
• Possess a full, clean driving license.
• Willing to travel to different locations for on-site inspections and visits, with regular stays away from home, which will be discussed at interview.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good understanding and application of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and internet applications.

London/Kent (Based from home)

Salary:

£25,000 – £35,000 plus approximately 33% bonus on top of salary.
