Job summary

Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service is seeking a Fire Safety Remediation Support Officer to provide administrative support to Fire Safety Officers and auditors, helping deliver regulatory and enforcement activities. You will coordinate workflows, manage records, monitor deadlines and support remediation programmes across Berkshire, contributing to building safety and resident protection.

You will work in a busy team with a focus on customer service and discretion.

Qualifications

Experience providing administrative support in a busy office or customer-focused environment.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage sensitive information accurately.
Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications, databases, shared mailboxes and filing systems.

Responsibilities

Provide proactive administrative support to the Protection team.
Coordinate and monitor Protection workflows, case management systems and workstreams, ensuring timely progress.
Manage shared inboxes and enquiries, directing matters to officers when specialist advice is needed.
Maintain accurate electronic records, databases and document management systems.
Track statutory consultations, enforcement actions and deadlines.
Support enforcement and prosecution activities through document collation and case administration.
