Arup is seeking Fire Engineers to join our UK team to deliver fire safety engineering services for a portfolio of high-impact projects. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, apply fire science in design, and work toward Chartered Engineer status with support from the firm.

Our hybrid model accommodates flexible work patterns across offices. You will join a 400+ strong fire safety network, contributing to safety equity and innovative tools, while delivering on client briefs with

Qualifications

Qualification in a relevant subject (fire engineering, other types of engineering, or architecture related).
Experience in a fire engineering consultancy or similar environment (industry related).
Knowledge of applicable legislation and guidance used in the UK, and awareness of the new regulatory regime.
Excellent report writing and communication skills - be collaborative, be creative and engaging.

Responsibilities

Understand and implement fire science on real projects via the engineering process.
Develop fire strategies in collaboration with the design team and stakeholders.
Investigate and apply appropriate UK legislation and guidance on projects.
Support path to Chartered Engineer status and contribute to the fire safety team.
