As our company grows, we are expanding our teams. We have a great opportunity for a dedicated Fire Safety Consultant & Validator to join our Building & Real Estate Division and wear the SOCOTEC badge with pride.

We are looking for a motivated, dedicated, and reliable Fire Safety Consultant with experience in a similar role. You will work on various projects both independently and as part of a team. It is essential that you can work efficiently both autonomously and collaboratively.

The tasks you will undertake include:

• Validate technical aspects of Fire Risk Assessments
• Conduct Fire Risk Assessments on-site
• Perform Compartmentation Surveys to assess fire containment measures
• Carry out Fire Door Surveys to ensure compliance with fire safety standards

To succeed in this role, you should demonstrate:

• Experience in validating Fire Risk Assessments and conducting site surveys
• Ability to identify fire hazards, provide risk mitigation guidance, and ensure compliance
• Ability to produce detailed reports and policies using company templates
• Assist clients in meeting statutory fire safety requirements
• Deliver fire safety training and provide technical support
• Support quality audits and maintain records according to company procedures
• Ensure Health & Safety compliance and proper use of safety equipment
• Collaborate with teams to promote company objectives
• Adhere to SOCOTEC UK Limited policies and quality standards

About Fire Safety Practice

Our Fire Safety Practice team handles fire safety consultancy, including risk assessments, compartmentation surveys, fire evacuation plans, and fire door surveys. Our services apply to various assets, including commercial, residential, retail, and educational buildings. Alongside Fire Safety Practice, our Building & Real Estate division offers Fire Engineering, Structural Engineering, and Building Control services.
