Principal People Recruitment is supporting a social housing safety consultancy to hire a Fire Risk Assessor. The role focuses on conducting fire risk assessments in residential and social housing, with related inspections and surveying, plus producing practical reports and safety guidance.

Hybrid working is offered across home, site, and office, with a 25-day leave allowance and progression opportunities within a growing fire safety team.

Qualifications

• Experience carrying out fire risk assessments in residential or social housing.
• Minimum Level 2 Fire Risk Assessment qualification; Level 3 preferred.
• Strong report writing and communication skills are essential.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out fire risk assessments across residential and social housing properties.
• Complete fire door inspections and compartmentation surveys.
• Produce clear reports with practical recommendations.

We're supporting an established property and fire safety consultancy with the recruitment of a Fire Risk Assessor to join their growing Fire Safety team.

The Role

• Carrying out fire risk assessments across residential and social housing properties
• Completing fire door inspections and compartmentation surveys
• Producing clear reports with practical recommendations
• Supporting clients with fire safety compliance advice
• Managing your own diary and regional workload
• Working closely with senior assessors for QA and technical support

What We're Looking For

• Experience carrying out fire risk assessments
• Minimum Level 2 Fire Risk Assessment qualification (ideally Level 3 Fire Risk Assessment qualification)
• Experience within residential, social housing, or sleeping accommodation
• Strong report writing and communication skills
• Full UK driving licence
