ATK Solutions seeks a Fire Risk Assessor + Health and Safety at mid to senior level to join our UK-wide consultancy. You will deliver complex fire risk assessments and provide clear, practical recommendations to ensure compliance with UK fire safety legislation.

The role focuses on fire risk assessment activities, with opportunities to contribute to more advanced technical work across varied projects and portfolios, including major office, retail, and institutional properties.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering PAS 79 fire risk assessments for complex properties.
• Ability to provide clear, practical advice to ensure UK fire safety compliance.
• Mentoring and supporting junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Deliver PAS 79-compliant fire risk assessments across complex properties.
• Provide expert guidance on the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and related regulations.
• Conduct Health & Safety assessments as part of client projects.
• Produce high-quality client-ready reports with actionable recommendations.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients for informed decision-making.
• Review and quality assure fire risk assessments at Principal level.
• Support and mentor junior team members.
• Contribute to service development and technical standards.

Fire Risk Assessor + Health and Safety (Mid to Senior Level)

Our client is a well-established fire risk, health & safety and compliance consultancy operating across the UK and internationally. They support a diverse portfolio including commercial offices, retail estates, industrial facilities, media organisations, and mixed-use developments.

You will be able to provide complex fire risk assessments for clients including H&M, HSBC, Co-OP, CBRE, Warehouses, Universities, Colleges, residential and many more.

Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Fire Risk Assessor + Health and Safety (Mid to Senior Level) to join their team.

The role is predominantly Fire Risk Assessor focused.

The Role

You will be responsible for delivering complex fire risk assessments and providing clear, practical advice to ensure compliance with UK fire safety legislation. You will also contribute to more advanced technical work, particularly in relation to existing and non-compliant buildings.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering PAS 79-compliant fire risk assessments across a range of complex property types
• Providing expert advice in relation to the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, Fire Safety Act, and associated regulations
• Health & Safety assessments
• Producing high-quality, client-ready reports with clear and proportionate recommendations
• Acting as a trusted advisor to clients, supporting informed decision-making
• Reviewing and quality assuring fire risk assessments (Principal level)
• Supporting and mentoring junior team members
• Contributing to service development and technical standards
