Job summary

Streamline Search Ltd. is assisting a client in Leeds to recruit a Business Development Manager in the passive fire protection division.

The role involves generating new business, building long-term client relationships, and driving growth across key sectors within the UK. You will conduct face-to-face and virtual meetings, secure framework agreements, manage existing accounts, and collaborate with estimating and operations to deliver client solutions, with clear targets and uncapped earning

Qualifications

• Experience within construction, passive fire protection or related industry.
• Previous sales, business development or account management experience.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A positive, self-motivated and resilient attitude.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Commercial awareness and a desire to win business.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Experience working with framework agreements and large commercial projects is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Generating new business opportunities through proactive sales activity.
• Developing relationships with contractors, consultants, housing providers and end clients.
• Securing framework agreements and long-term contracts.
• Managing and developing existing customer accounts.
• Conducting face-to-face and virtual client meetings.
• Identifying opportunities for additional services and repeat business.
• Working closely with our estimating and operational teams to deliver client solutions.
• Preparing quotations and supporting tender submissions.
• Achieving individual and team sales targets.
