Job summary

Haringey Council is seeking a Fire Projects Administrator to join the Building Safety & Compliance team in London. The role offers 36 hours per week and a permanent contract, starting at SO1 salary.

You will coordinate fire safety works, surveys, and resident engagement while handling enquiries and maintaining records. The successful candidate will support the Fire Programme team, work with contractors and stakeholders, and help drive compliance programmes across the borough, with a focus on

Qualifications

• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and databases.
• Ability to work independently with initiative.
• Experience in housing, property services, compliance or construction environments is advantageous and knowledge of housing maintenance/building safety is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the Fire Programme team and coordinate fire safety works, surveys, resident engagement activities and compliance programmes across the borough.
• Manage enquiries, coordinate information with contractors and stakeholders, maintain records, monitor progress and support delivery of key fire safety projects.
