Stevenage Borough Council is seeking a Building & Fire Safety Manager to lead safety across its housing stock. You will drive strategic and operational safety, manage risk, and oversee safety information systems and Building Safety Cases.

You will work with residents, contractors and the Building Safety Regulator to ensure compliance and continuous improvement. The role requires expert knowledge of building safety legislation, strong leadership and collaborative stakeholder engagement to deliver

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Building Safety Act 2022 and Fire Safety regulations.
• Experience assessing and managing building safety risk and compliance.
• Ability to provide expert advice in a complex regulatory environment.
• Experience leading safety information management and reporting.

Responsibilities
