Job summary

WSP is seeking an Associate Fire Engineer to work on diverse projects across the UK, from universities to high-rise towers, ensuring fire safety while enabling innovative designs.

You will review design information, liaise with Facades, Acoustics and Structures, and present to authorities and fire services. The role includes training toward chartered status and professional registrations with support from the leadership team.

Qualifications

• Must have extensive experience within the fire engineering consulting industry.
• Degree in Fire/Structural/Chemical/Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Role can be based from any UK major office and supports professional registration.

Responsibilities

• Analyse design information and liaise with Facades, Acoustics and Structures teams.
• Present designs to local authorities and Fire Service.
• Advise on design changes to improve building safety.
• Support the team toward chartered status and professional registrations.
