Job summary

Search People is recruiting a commercially focused Director of Fire & DSEAR Consultancy to lead growth, performance and development of the Fire & DSEAR practice.

You will shape the strategy, build client relationships with insurers and brokers, and identify new business opportunities while expanding existing client accounts.

This role offers flexible, hybrid working and a clear path to steer a growing national consultancy.

Qualifications

• Significant experience within Fire Safety, Fire Risk Management, DSEAR or related consultancy environment.
• Level 5 Fire qualification (or equivalent).
• Experience leading teams, consultancy functions or technical services within a commercial environment.
• Strong business development and client relationship management attributes.
• Fire Engineering knowledge beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead growth strategy, performance and profitability of the Fire & DSEAR Consultancy division.
• Develop and strengthen relationships with clients, insurers, brokers and key stakeholders.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities while expanding existing client accounts.
• Lead, mentor and develop a team of specialist Fire & DSEAR consultants.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality consultancy services, governance and regulatory compliance.
