Search People is seeking a commercially focused Director of Fire & DSEAR Consultancy to lead strategic growth, performance and development of its Fire & DSEAR practice. The role involves shaping the future of an established consultancy, driving business growth and client relationships.

You will lead a team of specialists, identify new market opportunities and ensure high-quality consultancy services with regulatory compliance. Training in DSEAR can be provided where needed.

Qualificações

• Significant experience in Fire Safety, Fire Risk Management, DSEAR or related consultancy.
• Hold or work towards Level 5 Fire qualification (or equivalent).
• Experience leading teams, consultancy functions or technical services in a commercial environment.

Responsabilidades

• Lead growth strategy, performance and profitability of the Fire & DSEAR Consultancy division.
• Develop and strengthen client relationships with insurers, brokers and key stakeholders.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities while expanding existing accounts.
• Lead, mentor and develop a team of Fire & DSEAR consultants.
• Ensure delivery of high‑quality consultancy services, governance and regulatory compliance.

Are you an experienced Fire Safety or DSEAR professional looking to lead and grow a specialist consultancy business?

Our client, a market-leading risk management and consultancy business, is seeking a commercially focused Director of Fire & DSEAR Consultancy to lead the strategic growth, performance and development of its Fire & DSEAR practice.

This is an outstanding opportunity to shape the future of an established consultancy offering, driving business growth, developing client relationships, leading a team of specialists and identifying new market opportunities.

We're looking for someone with the technical credibility to lead within the Fire Safety and DSEAR sector, coupled with the leadership skills and commercial mindset to build a high-performing consultancy practice. We recognise that many of the strongest candidates may come mainly from a Fire Risk Management or Fire Safety background, so training in DSEAR would be provided where needed.

This role would suit an existing Director, Head of Fire, Consultancy Manager or Senior Fire Risk Assessor looking to make a significant impact within a growing business.

What you'll be doing:

Leading the growth strategy, performance and profitability of the Fire & DSEAR Consultancy division.

Developing and strengthening relationships with clients, insurers, brokers and key stakeholders.

Leading, mentoring and developing a team of specialist Fire & DSEAR consultants.

Ensuring the delivery of high-quality consultancy services, technical governance and regulatory compliance.

What we're looking for:

Significant experience within Fire Safety, Fire Risk Management, DSEAR or a related consultancy environment.

To hold or be working towards a Level 5 Fire qualification (or equivalent professional qualification).

Ideally experience leading teams, consultancy functions or technical services within a commercial environment.

Strong business development and client relationship management attributes or experience.

*

Fire Engineering knowledge or experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
