Job summary

EI Hygiene Solutions Ltd in Wolverhampton is seeking a Fire Damper Engineer / Air Hygiene Technician for a full-time, on-site role. You will inspect, test, and maintain fire dampers and carry out TR19-compliant air hygiene cleaning and ductwork maintenance.

You will work with clients at various sites, perform risk assessments, follow method statements, document findings for compliance reports, and travel to surrounding areas as needed.

Qualifications

• Technical skills in fire damper inspection, testing and maintenance.
• Experience or training in air hygiene cleaning and TR19 standards.
• Awareness of health and safety regulations and risk assessments.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, reports and work instructions.
• Good communication skills for client interactions and report writing.
• Ability to work on-site in confined spaces or at height with reliability.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites.
• Certifications in TR19 or health and safety are advantageous.
• Experience in ventilation/HVAC or commercial cleaning is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, and maintain fire dampers at client sites.
• Perform TR19-compliant air hygiene cleaning and ventilation ductwork maintenance.
• Conduct risk assessments and follow method statements.
