Future Select Recruitment seeks an Air Hygiene / Fire Damper Engineer to cover Leeds and surrounding areas. You will perform TR19 compliant cleans and log fire dampers, with a view to ensuring compliance and reporting. Travel across the North is common, and a company vehicle is part of the package.

The role offers training, competitive pay in the £27k-£38k range, and overtime opportunities as projects grow.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in Air Hygiene / Fire Damper work.
• BESA Air Hygiene Ticket and Fire Damper qualification preferred.
• Knowledge of TR19 and BS9999 guidelines desirable.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and log fire dampers on a PDA.
• Grease extract and canopy cleans.
• AHU servicing and cleaning.
• Fire damper testing.
• Fitting access doors/panels.
• Identify remedial works.
• Produce detailed technical service reports.
• Maintain high standards of work.
• Take pre- and post-work photographs.

Air Hygiene / Fire Damper Engineer – Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire – Salary/Benefits: £27k - £38k + Training & Benefits

Due to recently winning new commercial contracts, our client is recruiting for a multi-skilled Air Hygiene / Fire Damper Engineer. Ideally, they are seeking someone who is flexible to travel in line with company needs, and can consider candidates from the North of England. You will be responsible for conducing TR19 compliance cleans, in addition to fire damper logging and testing. Our client is a medium-sized compliance specialist, who have a growing presence and recognised name within the industry. Experience / Qualifications

• Hands-on experience working as an Air Hygiene / Fire Damper Engineer
• Ideally will hold the BESA Air Hygiene Ticket and the Fire Damper qualification

• Flexible to travel in line with company needs
• Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
• Hardworking attitude
