Future Select Recruitment is seeking a multi-skilled Ventilation / Fire Damper Engineer for the Midlands region, based in Wolverhampton. The role requires inspecting ventilation systems, testing fire dampers, and performing ductwork cleanings with travel as needed.

Excellent training and development paths, plus overtime and company vehicle, are offered. Candidates should have experience in ventilation/fume systems, a Fire Damper Testing ticket if possible, and a strong grasp of TR19/BS9999

Qualifikationen

• Experience working as a Ventilation / Fire Damper Engineer.
• Ideally hold the Fire Damper Testing ticket.
• Good understanding of TR19 and BS9999 guidelines.
• Will have worked across commercial, food outlet and manufacturing sites.
• Flexible to travel as per company needs.

Ventilation / Fire Damper Engineer

Location: Wolverhampton, West Midlands

Salary/Benefits: £27k - £38k + Training & Benefits

Due to recently winning new contracts, our client is seeking a multi-skilled Ventilation / Fire Damper Engineer in the Midlands region. Ideally, applicants will be well-versed in cleaning ductwork, grease extract systems and canopies, in addition to testing fire dampers. This role will involve travelling as per company needs, and would suit someone hardworking with a flexible nature. Experience / Qualifications:

• Experience working as a Ventilation / Fire Damper Engineer
• Ideally will hold the Fire Damper Testing ticket
• Good understanding of TR19 and BS9999 guidelines
• Will have worked across a wide variety of premises, including: commercial, food outlet and manufacturing sites
• Flexible to travel in line with company needs
• Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills

The Role:

• Inspecting and highlighting required works on various ventilation, ductwork, grease extracts and fire dampers
• Logging and testing fire dampers
• Cleans on grease extraction, AHU, ductwork and ventilation systems
• Fitting access doors and panels
• Interpreting technical drawings
• Working to agreed deadlines
• Completing detailed pre and post work reports
• Travelling as per client requirements
