Job summary

Future Select Limited is seeking an experienced Fire Damper / Ventilation Engineer to join our Midlands-based team in Coventry. The role involves logging, testing and remedial works on Fire Dampers, installing and commissioning, surveying ventilation systems and producing service reports.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record in fire dampers, NVQ 5 preferred, BS9999 knowledge, BESA ticket, and willingness to travel to fit company needs across the UK.

Qualifications

• Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills.
• NVQ Level 5 in Fire and Smoke Dampers preferred.
• BESA ticket is desirable and supports compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform logging and testing of Fire Dampers on site.
• Carry out remedial works on Fire Dampers (TEK screw removals, collars, and link swaps).
• Install and commission Fire Dampers.
• Survey ventilation systems to determine required works.
• Conduct AHU cleans and identify system faults.
• Audit completed works and produce regular service reports.
• Maintain strong client relationships and provide recommendations.

We are recruiting for an experienced and hardworking Fire Damper Engineer in the Midlands region. Our client is a privately owned outfit, with imminent expansion plans and a diverse client portfolio. They are seeking someone with a good track record in the industry, and good hands-on experience of Fire Damper logging, testing and remedial repairs. Experience / Qualifications:

• Good track record working as a Fire Damper Engineer
• Ideally will hold the NVQ Level 5 in Fire and Smoke Dampers
• Robust technical knowledge, including BS9999 guidelines
• Will hold the BESA ticket
• Flexible to travel in line with company needs
• Able to work independently on site
