Alecto Recruitment Limited is representing a leading Fire and Security business seeking a Service/Install Engineer to join their team in Leicester. This mobile role covers the East Midlands and involves installation, preventative maintenance and servicing of intruder alarm, CCTV and access control systems.

You should have 2 years' experience in Fire and Security, knowledge of British Standards, a full UK driving licence and a clean DBS.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of British Standards.
• NSI / NACOSS knowledge.
• BAFE knowledge.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Clean criminal record / DBS check.
• 2 years' experience in Fire and Security industry.

Responsabilités

• Carry out installation, preventative and corrective maintenance, whilst complying with Company procedures for Health and Safety.
• Work completed complies with work instructions.
• Quality documentation procedures.
• Promote generation of sales opportunities.
• Ensure relationships with clients are maintained successfully.
• Interact, liaise and co‑operate with all company employees.
• Develop successful performance with sales team through support and encouragement.
• Liaise with Chief Engineer, Sales and National Accounts personnel to ensure work commencement and completion dates are met.
• Maintain a neat and tidy appearance, wearing company issued clothing at all times whilst on duty.
• Support Chief Engineers, Sales and Senior Management in a variety of projects as and when required.

Fire and Security Service and Install Engineer

Service and Install Engineer - Fire and Security - Mobile position

It is essential for you to have the following skills to be able to Apply:

2 years' experience working in Fire and Security industry

FIA is desirable but not necessary

Location - Leicester, Leicestershire

This is a mobile role so you will be expected to cover the East Midlands

Job Summary -

Our client is a leading, award winning and NIS accredited Fire and Security business who are looking to add a Fire and Security Service / Install Engineer to their established team of professionals.

Our client is very customer focused, practical and hands‑on in the industry ensuring their clients are satisfied with the work and keeping their business moving efficiently.

Working Hours/Environment.

The working hours are 40 hours a week and there will be an on‑call rota included in the package.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out installation, preventative and corrective maintenance, whilst complying with Company procedures for:
• Health and Safety
• Work completed complies with work instructions
• Quality documentation procedures
• Company policies for vehicle use
• Achieve service level targets and any other requirements regarding customers.
• Promote generation of sales opportunities
• Ensure relationships with clients are maintained successfully.
• Interact, liaise and co‑operate with all company employees.
• Develop successful performance with sales team through support and encouragement.
• Liaise with Chief Engineer, Sales and National Accounts personnel to ensure work commencement and completion dates are met whenever practicable.
• Maintain a neat and tidy appearance, wearing company issued clothing at all times whilst on duty.
• Support Chief Engineers, Sales and Senior Management in a variety of projects as and when required
• In addition to the above-mentioned duties, you may, on occasion, be required to work in an alternative Abel branch. You may also be required to perform any other tasks within your skills and capabilities as required by Director or his nominee. These should be completed to agreed standards within agreed timetables.

Qualifications and Skills -

• Knowledge of British Standards
• NSI / NACOSS knowledge - particularly relevant because they operate under NSI Gold accreditation.
• BAFE knowledge
• Full UK driving licence - specifically listed as required
• Clean criminal record / DBS check
