Job summary

Regional Recruitment is seeking an experienced Fire/Security Engineer in Leicester to install, service and fault-find intruder alarms, CCTV, access control, intercom and fire alarm systems, mainly in domestic properties with some commercial work.

The role offers a basic salary of £41,800 plus overtime and a call-out allowance, with a company van, tools, and 20 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays. Local work across Leicestershire with minimal travel.

Qualifications

• Proven experience installing, servicing and fault-finding intruder alarm systems.
• Experience with CCTV, access control, intercom and fire alarm systems.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer facing and communication skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Must be based in or around Leicestershire.

Responsibilities

• Installation, servicing, maintenance and fault finding of security systems, mainly domestic with some commercial/industrial projects.
• Work on Intruder Alarm Systems, CCTV Systems, Access Control, Intercom Systems and Fire Alarm Systems.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised workspace in line with health and safety policies.

Qualifications

Essential:

• Proven experience installing, servicing and fault-finding intruder alarm systems


• Experience with CCTV, access control, intercom and fire alarm systems


• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills


• Excellent customer facing and communication skills


• Full UK Driving License


• Must be based in or around Leicestershire

Desirable:

• Experience on a variety of sites from commercial to domestic


• IPAF certification
