Job summary

Logic Fire and Security, part of Complii, is seeking an engineer to join our South West/Bristol team. You will maintain and service life safety systems, including fire alarms, emergency lighting and fire extinguishers, across diverse sites.

The role involves fault finding, on-call duties (1 in 4 weeks), and delivering timely inspections with practical solutions. A valid UK driving license is essential; GENT training is desirable but can be provided.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of maintaining life safety systems including fire alarms, emergency lighting and fire extinguishers.
• Ability to fault-find and diagnose issues across fire and security systems.
• Full UK driving license is required; GENT training desirable but provided for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service life safety systems across varied sites.
• Carry out remedial works and fault-finding on fire and security systems.
• Ensure inspections are completed within timescales and resolve issues with effective solutions.
• Participate in on-call rota (1 in 4 weeks) to cover emergencies.

Here’s a look at some of the things you’ll be doing:

• You will provide maintenance and servicing of life safety systems and carry out remedial works in a variety of sites
• You will be responsible for Fault Finding on Fire and Security Systems, emergency lighting and fire extinguishers
• Ensuring high-standard service inspections are performed within agreed timescales while resolving issues by identifying problems and offering effective solutions
• Ability to work with Fire Alarms, Emergency Lighting, Fire Extinguishers & Security Systems

Can you show experience in some of these areas:

• You will have Minimum 2 years’ experience in similar role
• Have a valid full UK driving license
• GENT training desirable but training can be given for the right candidate
• Take part in the out-of-hours call out rota (1 in 4 weeks) and be available and willing to support emergency call outs when on call
