Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an experienced Fire & Security Service Engineer to service and maintain fire alarm, access control, and security systems across the UK. You will diagnose faults, perform repairs, and complete preventive maintenance visits to keep client sites compliant and safe.

The role offers a 40-hour week, a company vehicle, and ongoing training within a supportive team. A full UK driving licence and FIA/ECS certifications are essential for this position.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing fire and security systems.
• FIA training or equivalent industry knowledge.
• ECS Card and safety certifications.
• Asbestos Awareness certification.
• IPAF and PASMA certified.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain fire alarm, access control, and security systems.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs.
• Complete planned preventive maintenance visits.
• Ensure compliance with British Standards and industry regulations.
• Produce accurate service reports and documentation.
• Build strong relationships with customers by delivering excellent service.
• Work independently while supporting the wider team when required.

The Role

As a Fire & Security Service Engineer, you will:
