Job summary

Ranger Services Holdings Limited is seeking a Fire & Security Commissioning Engineer to join their Newcastle upon Tyne team. You will be responsible for commissioning and testing fire alarms, security systems and TECS equipment on site and ensuring on-time project handovers.

The role requires solid electrical engineering skills, experience with testing and verification, and the ability to communicate confidently with clients and colleagues on challenging sites. A van and tools are provided.

What Youll Be Doing

• Commissioning and testing fire alarms, security systems, and TECS equipment
• Fault-finding like a pro and getting systems over the finish line
• Working closely with design and install teams to deliver top-tier projects

• Supporting smooth client handovers with confidence and clarity

What You Bring

• Strong commissioning and electrical engineering skills
• Solid experience with electrical testing and verification
• A knack for troubleshooting and solving problems under pressure
• Knowledge of fire & security standards
• Confidence communicating with clients and colleagues
• Experience in the Fire & Security sector (ideal but not essential)
• Relevant electrical/technical qualifications
